7/8-9 x 2 Cup Point Square Head Set Screw is a plain-finish carbon steel fastener for square-head set screw specifications. The square flats also make the part recognizable on older assemblies that were designed before headless hex-socket set screws became common.

Industrial controls with exposed mechanical adjustments can use square-head set screws where a protruding wrench head is intentionally specified.
