3/8-16 x 5/8 Cup Point Square Head Set Screw is a square-drive, cup-point set screw for assemblies where the head itself provides the wrenching surface. The square flats also make the part recognizable on older assemblies that were designed before headless hex-socket set screws became common.
Mill and grinder adjustments use this style where rugged wrench access is part of the original machine design.
