7/8 x 1/2 Heat Treated Steel Standard Dowel Pin provides the fixed reference used around clamps, screws, and guided tooling hardware. A correctly sized reamed hole lets the dowel become the alignment reference, leaving screws and bolts to provide clamp force.

In weld fixtures, stop blocks, and repeatable nests, the hardened ground pin helps repeat location through service, teardown, and rebuild cycles. Alloy Steel Socket Head Cap Screws and Stripper Bolts are natural clamping and guiding partners around a dowel-located joint.

Since 1962, Cold Headers has helped buyers match specialty fasteners to drawings, repair records, and production requirements. Review the nominal diameter, measured pin range, recommended hole size, end form, and length before matching this dowel pin to an assembly.
