1/2-13 x 2 3/4 Cup Point Square Head Set Screw is a square-drive, cup-point set screw for assemblies where the head itself provides the wrenching surface. The square flats also make the part recognizable on older assemblies that were designed before headless hex-socket set screws became common.

Industrial controls with exposed mechanical adjustments can use square-head set screws where a protruding wrench head is intentionally specified.

Square-head cup point screws in fine thread and extended lengths can be difficult to source, so the SKU detail should be checked closely. Review the thread, length, square-head dimensions, and cup point diameter before substituting another set screw style.
