3/4 x 3/4 Heat Treated Steel Standard Dowel Pin gives machine builders a hardened locating element for plates, bases, and tooling assemblies. Standard Series dowels are intentionally oversize, with the basic diameter 0.0002 in. over nominal so the pin presses into a nominal reamed hole.
For mold bases, core plates, or cavity alignment, confirm the reamed hole condition, pin diameter, and length before release to production or repair. Pull Dowel Pins add a tapped end for removal from blind holes when the die or fixture cannot be flipped.
