Washdown equipment alignment is a natural fit because the pin provides location without relying on a screw shank inside a clearance hole. Oversize Dowel Pins may be appropriate for repair fits in re-reamed holes where a standard diameter no longer restores location. Use the nominal diameter, tolerance band, and length together; the dowel sets location while separate fasteners provide clamping force.
Cold Headers can quote non-catalog diameters and lengths when the drawing calls for a stainless dowel outside the standard listed range.
