3/8 x 7/16 18-8 Stainless Steel Standard Dowel Pin gives maintenance teams a stainless option for restoring registration in assemblies originally designed around a standard dowel.
Replacement of corroded pins during rebuilds can restore fit without changing the original dowel diameter or mating component design. Oversize Dowel Pins may be appropriate for repair fits in re-reamed holes where a standard diameter no longer restores location. Use the nominal diameter, tolerance band, and length together; the dowel sets location while separate fasteners provide clamping force.
