1/2 x 3 1/2 18-8 Stainless Steel Standard Dowel Pin is a ground cylindrical locating pin for assemblies that need corrosion-resistant registration in wet or frequently cleaned equipment.
Stainless weldment alignment and equipment-panel assembly benefit from a pin that controls location while allowing serviceable fastener layout. Oversize Dowel Pins may be appropriate for repair fits in re-reamed holes where a standard diameter no longer restores location. Use the nominal diameter, tolerance band, and length together; the dowel sets location while separate fasteners provide clamping force.
