1/4-20 x 1/4 Cone Point Alloy Steel Socket Set Screw with Nylon Insert is a heat-treated alloy steel cone point socket set screw with a nylon insert for thread drag after seating. A spotted shaft gives the point a defined pocket, so the set screw can locate more positively during installation. Use this alloy steel body with the nylon locking pellet where the drawing calls for a mechanical set screw, not a corrosion-focused stainless part.
