Semiconductor tooling and clean equipment fixtures use tip screws for less severe localized contact. Internal socket access keeps the screw headless for compact adjustment points.

Check the 3/8-24 x 1/4 thread, threaded length, tip length, tip diameter, mating material, and drive access against the drawing. Because the tip is added to the working end, the 3A thread fit remains available for close-fitting tapped holes.
