Its locking element supports service where a standard all-metal cap screw may need an added thread-locking feature.

Use it for wash-bay equipment, maintenance fixtures, or replacement assemblies after confirming thread engagement, drive access, and the mating material. The nylon element gives the joint a locking feature, but it also limits service temperature compared with an all-metal socket screw.
