1/4-20 x 1 1/4 Cup Point Square Head Set Screw supports traditional wrench-driven set screw service in heavy mechanical assemblies. The open square head is useful when a standard wrench is preferred and the drive must stay visible during adjustment.

Packing gland and follower adjustments are typical service points where wrench-driven set screws are still specified. Where a protruding head will not clear the design, Cup Point Slotted Headless Set Screws provide a screwdriver-driven headless alternative.

Use Cold Headers when the requirement is specific: square head, cup point, carbon steel, Class 2A thread, and the length shown on the drawing. The thread, length, across-flats size, head height, and cup point diameter should be checked against the print before purchase.
