1/16 x 2 1/2 Tension Pin (Slotted Spring Pin) is a slotted roll pin selected when a normal drilled hole is preferred over a reamed dowel-pin hole. Tension pin, slotted spring pin, and roll pin describe the same slotted self-retaining pin style. The chamfered ends support driving from either side, while the open slot allows compression during installation.
