1/4 x 4 1/2 Heat Treated Steel Standard Dowel Pin provides a hardened, ground reference point for press-fit alignment in reamed holes. A correctly sized reamed hole lets the dowel become the alignment reference, leaving screws and bolts to provide clamp force.
