3/32 x 1 1/2 18-8 Stainless Steel Standard Dowel Pin is a ground cylindrical locating pin for assemblies that need corrosion-resistant registration in wet or frequently cleaned equipment.
Conveyor side frames, guide blocks, and packaging change parts may use the pin as the reference feature that holds lateral position. Tension Pins serve a different role, using spring action in looser holes rather than a ground cylindrical press fit. Use the nominal diameter, tolerance band, and length together; the dowel sets location while separate fasteners provide clamping force.
Cold Headers can quote non-catalog diameters and lengths when the drawing calls for a stainless dowel outside the standard listed range.
